(April 26, 2009) … Part 3 … Immunoassay Testing Video Training Focusses on Daily Maintenance of the Tosoh AIA-600 II Automated Immunoassay Analyzer.
Daily Maintenance: To start up the AIA-600 II turn on the main power switch located on the lower right side of the analyzer. The operator registration screen will appear. This screen allows you to change the operator registration if you want to. To logon with a different operator name press F1 (Correct). The Operator Name screen will appear. Use the arrow keys to select letters, press the enter key to accept the letter selection. Continue the process for up to 10 characters. Press the F5 key (Quit) once the operator name registration is complete. Use the up/down arrow keys to select the current operator and press the Enter key. The operator logon name will be used on result reports.
Press F2 (Skip) to bypass operator registration if you do not want to change the operator name. The instrument will then initialize. During the initialization process, the AIA-600 II homes all components and checks the incubator and sampling station for remaining cups. Once logon in completed the Daily Maintenance 1 screen will be displayed. Physically inspect all materials listed except tips because the tip rack is not accessible at this time. Add, replace, or remove materials necessary.
